With backgrounds in biology, chemistry, and farming - we were farmers and educators before we started brewing beer. This background makes our process and our beer unique - we brew according to the scientific method using ingredients from our farm and the local community. A trip to our tap house will likely not only include the enjoyment of tasty beer right from the source - you will probably also get the chance to meet the brewers or some of our local farmers.
Our beer is the product of a unique combination of scientific accuracy, locally sourced ingredients, and creativity. The father/son brewing team (Craig and Eli Deitz) take pride in the consistency of their standard recipes. However, they are also always experimenting with new flavors and ideas - usually based on the seasons bumper crops. You can purchase our beer in bottles and on tap at many local businesses. But nothing beats the authentic experience that a visit to our tap house will be.
Our goal is to be self-sustaining - using produce, hops, and grains from our farm - to educate and share the joy of farming and brewing, and to continue to preserve and maintain open space and a way of life for future generations.
